LAIRD CRUMP

SENIOR LEAD PASTOR

Laird has been a pastor in the Greater Toronto Area for over 25 years. He has been a youth pastor, senior pastor, church planter and adjunct seminary professor. Laird also has a background in marriage and family ministry and worked with Focus on the Family Canada for 8 years. Before coming to The Campus, Laird was the Canada East Superintendent of the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada. His ministry passion is leadership development, which was the focus of his Doctoral Studies. Laird Crump is married to a wonderful woman named Joey and together they enjoy their four young adult children and one grandson. They live on a small hobby farm in Stouffville and love to explore God’s nature with their horses and dogs.

ALAN BUTRYN

PASTOR OF CONGREGATIONAL CARE

…To daily model a Christ-like, Spirit-filled life while nurturing in others a to love, know, and live out the truth of God’s Word in their family, church, and community life.…

Alan has been in full-time pastoral ministry for over two decades. Now, as the Congregation Care Pastor of The Campus Church, his greatest desire is that all who call The Campus their home church will experience the love of Christ, spiritual care and growth, and meaningful Christian friendship and support through active engagement in our Campus Home Groups.

Alan is married to Kathy, the love of his live, and together they have three grown children, 2 sons-in-law, and 4 amazing and energetic grandchildren.

ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

Alexis worked in the administrative and marketing areas of the public sector for over twelve years before accepting her role at The Campus Church in 2004 as our Administrative Assistant.  Ten years later, Alexis transitioned into the role of Administrative Director and oversees most of the day-to-day administrative, operational, bookkeeping, budgeting, and non-profit compliance business of The Campus Church.   Alexis has two teenage sons, James and Jack, and loves interacting with her Campus Church family

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES DIRECTOR

…To impact families by bringing children to a full saving knowledge and growing relationship with Christ in a safe, caring and fun environment…

Sherry joined The Campus staff in 2011 with 20 + years of children’s ministry experience. It is her passion to see children come to know the amazing love of Jesus in their life and to accept His gift of salvation at an early age. Her greatest pleasure is sharing the Gospel with a child, knowing it will change their life for eternity. Sherry also considers it a privilege to partner with parents in helping their kids become firmly rooted in their relationship with God as they learn about him and become active Jesus followers! Her focus in all Campus children’s programs is to create an exciting, dynamic, relevant, loving and safe place for children to learn about God. Sherry and her husband We feel blessing beyond measure to be the parents of 4 great kids.

Rob

ROB ALCOCK

YOUTH PASTOR

To help people discover their God given gifts so that they may serve the church, their community, and abroad…

Rob grew up in rural Ontario, in a small town near London. Upon completing high school he moved to Saskatchewan to do one year of studies at Briercrest College and Seminary, so that he could deepen his faith and come to understand more of what he claimed to believe. He ended up staying for eight years in total, completing a BA Youth Ministry, and his M. Div. Biblical Studies. He and his wife, Katie, moved to Vancouver to spend one year in a Pastoral apprenticeship before being called to join God’s work at The Campus Church. Rob is passionate  about sports, music (listening, not playing), the outdoors, carpentry, and origami.
